Current Responsibilities
Lori Weatherford serves as Regional Vice President for Gateway Management Company, based in Birmingham, Alabama where she is responsible for all facets of management and operations over 65 communities, with new development properties currently in the pipeline including property acquisitions and new construction. She leads a team of Regional Property Managers in Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama.
Relevant Experience
With more than 30 years of experience in the property management industry, Lori worked for several industry recognized companies where she gained extensive knowledge and experience in marketing and management of all types of properties. Her experience includes Conventional, Tax Credit, Rural Development, Bond, HOME, Section 8, and HUD. Lori brings Gateway Management the professional skills and a well-diversified background that will assure success to the owner portfolio and third-party fee management.
Education/Affiliations
Lori is a member with the following organizations: National Apartment Association, Institute of Real Estate Management, Southeastern Affordable Housing Management Association, the Georgia Affordable Housing Coalition, and the National Association of Home Builders. She holds the Institute of Real Estate Management designations of Certified Property Manager (CPM), and the National Association of Home Builders designation of Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP). Lori regularly attends national and local industry education conferences to keep up with emerging trends and industry best practices.
